id have to think long and hard for the best ive ever seen and even then i would forget something equally fitting as winning my vote. But the best one ive seen recently is the shot in the magdalene sisters where one of the catholics girls has just bean beaten up the nuns and you know you are about to see something pretty grusome and sure enough you get such a shot, but one is is incredibly beautiful and cool at the same time.

It cuts to an ECU of the girls eye, her eyelashes all goey and wet from the thick blood between them, she looks distraught, and in her pupil you can see the face of the nun that just assulted her, leaning in and giving her some more shit over what ever trivial thing she had done.

The fact it doesnt cut to the nuns but you simply see them in the reflection of the blood gunged eye i thought was amazing.
